Linda was in a fix. She had a job delivering pizzas when her car disappeared from where it was parked one day. There was no sign by where she had left it, which meant she didn’t know what happened to it. Was it stolen?
“I was stuck in Ann Arbor. This never happened to me before. I was crying and didn’t know what to do next.”
When she contacted the police, they told her the car was towed. While she found out where it was, she soon realized she had less than half the money she needed to get it back. The worst part was, she couldn’t work at her job to make up the difference without the car.
“I missed out on so many days of work,” Linda said.
Friends In Deed was able to help her out by making up the difference between the funds she had available and the total she needed to get the car back.
“Now, I can get to work and start looking for a second job…Thank you, Friends In Deed!”
