Bill Holmes has graciously donated a very unique experience: a Guided Tour of the Radar Room and Control Tower at Detroit Metro Airport.
The lucky bidder (and a guest) at Friends In Deed’s Live Auction will meet Bill Holmes at the McNamara Terminal and be escorted through, as Bill puts it, the “super secret” entrance to the radar room.
The winner will also journey up 20 stories into the control tower, where air traffic controllers will explain and demonstrate their actions as they guide take offs and landings.
Note: Ages 15 and Up.
