Brittany takes home a truck full of furniture.
“I came from the Staples Family Center, which is part of The Salvation Army. I am a 25-year-old single mom of a 2-year-old girl and 7-year-old boy. I had lost my job, which caused me to have an eviction on my credit and I couldn’t find housing. I ended up going from house to house with my children and decided to go to a shelter for help. I went into the shelter in April and came out in July.
I had to start from scratch seeking help because I had nothing. Friends in Deed put me on their list for basically everything. You guys have helped me furnish just about my whole house, and I am so grateful. I received dressers, beds and bedding, tables,chairs, a TV, and more!
Thank you so much for helping me and my children. We really appreciate everything you guys have done for us. I definitely have been telling everybody I know about you. Hopefully I can donate in the future to help someone else.”
