Each year, Dave and Mary VanderYacht open their home to Friends In Deed for a volunteer picnic. Everyone brought a dish and food was plentiful. In fact, there were six desserts!

The deck surrounding the house overlooks Halfmoon Lake in Pinckney. Surrounded by trees, the deck provided a nice, shady place to eat with a great view.
Dave and Mary’s deck overlooking the lake was a great place to eat lunch.
Staff and volunteers alike had a great lunch and a great time.
